Tiffany & Co

We are back wandering around Sloane Square ~
Nothing says it quite like Tiffany for... Je t'aime.

I have been summoned for Jury Service ~ went in on Monday and need to report back again on Wednesday. I am really not looking forward to doing this, but something one must do, to make an important contribution to my community.

    Hi Ria,

    The answer to your question ~ A Jury is a group of 12 people randomly selected from the community.
    Their task is to hear the evidence of a case, decide on the facts and then reach a verdict - guilty or not guilty.
    Hope that helps.

    That IS a lovely blue, Carolyn! It's the color of the Tiffany boxes. (No wonder we like it!)

    Jury duty, after many years, is no longer a duty for me....I am old enough to opt out. I'm smiling as I say that because not once was I ever chosen for a jury! So all those hours and days spent waiting over the years was wasted.

    Love your pics and I agree, the Tiffany color is just too beautiful. I've never actuallyl been to this particular Tiffany (only the one on Bond St). I need to check it out at some point.

    Jury service - is this some kind of working as a lay judge? If yes: Some years ago I had some kind of jury service, too. It was a case of sexual harassment, and I found it quite exciting to see in a real court how this is handled. I hope you also have an interesting jury-"job"! And especially I hope that your relatives get back soon and healthy from Japan!

    Good luck on your jury duty. I had it last year and lucked out as far as not getting seated. I would have thought that they wouldn't have called the wife of a cop, but I was wrong.

    My favorite colour is turquoise! :)It used to be turquoise when I was a little girl, then later in life it became fuchsia, but now, it's turquoise again! :) I think I'm sticking to it, this time! :) :) I look so good in turquoise, too! :) :) I remember my first turquoise jacket when I was ten..... sighs.... :D
