For many Picasso is the greatest art genius of the twentieth century. He influenced and dominated the art, like no other modern artist. He created thousands of paintings, prints, sculptures and ceramics during a time span of about 75 years. He died at the age of 92, in 1973.

Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeletePicasso was a brilliant painter. Very inspiring! I read a book about him some time ago and it did portray him as somewhat insane. For the life of me I can not remember the name of the book and I am not seeing it among my books on the shelves. I think my son may have it. Anyway, Some of the same pics you share were also in the book. It was an interesting read.
Love your posts Carolyn as you always share such great information with pictures.
Hope you are doing well and enjoying your Springtime. As you know, we are in Autumn and it is glorious.
Thank you for stopping by my friend.
Have a great week.
Blessings and Hugs to you,
Celestina Marie
When I was younger I never understood his painting....now I realize what a genius he really was. Unlike many artist he got to reap the fruits of his labor.
