Happy 19th Birthday Marcel.
The years have gone by so quickly and it was only like yesterday you were this dear little sweet baby.
Let me tell you about your entrance into this world.
I was busy baking a banana cake and peanut brownies the morning that our second baby decided to come two weeks earlier than expected.
We had to make some quick decisions as to where you were going to be born - home birth or hospital?
We decided home was the best place, so big sister went across to be looked after by a very kind neighbour. This saved the three hour journey down to her Grandparents as was originally planned.
You were born at home after a short birth of three hours with the wonderful help of Doctor McLaurin and Midwife Jenny. The interesting thing about the Doctor, his Grandfather had delivered me into the world, so it really is a small world sometimes.
We were able to sit and have a nice hot cup of tea with cakes and biscuits out of the oven.
Soon after, you were visited by your big sister Victoria who was able to meet and cuddle her new baby brother.
A happy day indeed! ... and now want to wish you the happiest of birthdays and a great year ahead for you. Love you xx
We are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate the birthday.
Thank you for visiting me and I look forward to coming over to say hello to you.
Happy weekend to all my friends.
Hugs
Carolyn

Love the story of his birth. What a wonderful memory. I bet the baked goods you were making were better then anything from the hospital and so welcome after the birth.
