If you go down to the woods today!...... I love these photos of the magnificent bears
From the Daily Mail UK.
By nature bears are solitary creatures ~ but when there's a river full of fish ready to leap straight into your paws, they will make an exception.
These astonishing pictures show the annual feeding frenzy that follows the salmon spawning season in Katmai National Park in Alaska.
To all the lovely people who follow my blog and leave a comment, thank you so much.
It always makes me happy to hear from you.
I hope that you are having a lovely week

I love bears! These are having such fun. I like to see them doing as they should!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Hugs, lisa
This really was a teddy-bears picnic! and in such a beautiful setting. It's interesting to know that bears are solitary creatures because I always think of them as cute, cuddly and friendly creatures.

What beautiful creatures. Although they're dangerous, there's something about those bears I just want to hug. I wouldn't but there's something so cute and lovable about them! Yum, fresh salmon for those beauties.
ReplyDeleteHappy week to you, Carolyn.

They are such beautiful creatures but I sure wouldn't want to run into one! Last year one came into the camp area where my girlfriend and her husband and some friends where camping and went right up to their camper!

they are amazing animals... beautiful, ferocious, graceful ...and in this case, so hungry!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures.

There's something still so cute about bears, even though their size can make them a little intimidating.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really adorable post!
Hello Carolyn...
ReplyDeleteLook at all of those bears...isn't it amazing how nature works. Love the photos...
And those hats in the previous post! Love the photos...they really are wonderful!
Hope you have a great week!
Hugs, Nancy
Dear Carolyn, Nature is so amazing and I always love to watch programs about animals. I wouldn't want to meet this bear in person but doesn't he have the cutest expression while catching that salmon?
ReplyDeleteHave a great Wednesday :-)!
Big hugs,
Julia
Wow...there must be some good fishing there...I do love bears as well. Thanks for sharing these amazing images. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful, Carolyn ♥ Although, I am stunned by the amazingly beautiful image of horses altogether, it's even more spectacular than when bears are altogether! :)
ReplyDeleteHow are you today, Carolyn? :) Thank you for dropping by my place and leaving a comment! I always enjoy your visits! :)
Cheers to you and to yours! :)
Beautiful pictures Carolyn, I think it's just amazing that both the salmon and the bears know exactly what they have to do. One of the great wonders of the world I think! Enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteI love bears- they are cute! :)
ReplyDeletehave a fab day, darling Carolyn, xoxo
I love these photos! I've seen big bears in Alaska....amazing! Love your black and white photos, too! Have a wonderful day! ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWhat magnificent pics of the picnic bears you share. They are beautiful creatures and look so loveable, although I know they are mighty and dangerous.
Love to see them feeding on my favorite fish, salmon.
SO enjoyed catching up on your posts I missed while away. Love the black and white, the Tiffany post with Audrey Hepburn and your flowers are beautiful. I grow those as well and mine are red.
Thank you for stopping by after I returned. The week off went by all to fast and now it is back to reality. LOL! Trying to catch up with everything and we still have very hot temps over 100 each day.
Have a great day and see you again soon.
Hugs and blessings to you,
Celestina Marie
Wonderful photos but what I want to know is - who captures these? Do they just hang out in one spot waiting for wildlife to come along?
ReplyDeleteAmazing pics, darling!
ReplyDeleteLove this post!

Wow!
ReplyDeleteGreat picnic!!
Have a wonderful day Carolyn!!
Chat soon,
Rosemary
Yikes! I wouldn't want to be around there for the feeding frenzy! I'll stick with your sweet little bears for company. :)
ReplyDeleteBefore we left the States, one of the stores was setting up all the Fall and Halloween stuff. I thought that was crazy and now you've mentioned a Christmas store. Why is everything so rushed?
Hope you are having a fabulous day. I am taking my time unpacking, cleaning, organizing. No rush as I still have 2 weeks before I go back to work. Best wishes, Tammy
I have to admit. I love watching the bears at the zoo. I found out the brown bears at our zoo had been held in captivity at someone's house. Animal control took them away and they ended up our zoo because they didn't think they could survive in the woods.
ReplyDeleteLove the bears fishing...they're beautiful to watch.
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteLove this! While growing up we watched The Wonderful World Of Disney and they had Old movies of bear adventures.
Hope they left some salmon for us! :)
Hugs,
Mary
These bears are amzing - they are so wild. and...they love salmon- one of my favs too.

It looks like those bears have the life! Whenever you see photos of wild animals in their element, it makes me so sad to think of them in zoos.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a spectacular week!
Dear Carolyn, bears are your friends and your inspiration!!! I see you love and admire bears...
ReplyDeleteHave a great and joyful weekend my darling.

This post reminds me of a Disney movie: Brother Bears. In spite of the fact that they're wild animals, I think bears are cute :) Have a beautiful weekend, Carolyn!
