For Mother's Day I was given this cute compact bloggie camera, from my son.
This is the first time I have had to give it a try ~ I still need more practice but here are a few photographs I took today.
Sometimes I feel a little bit of a Luddite when it comes to downloading and getting the photos from the camera to the computer, and eventually with the help of my husband, I mastered it, so it will be fun when I get better at it.
Lavender from Provence.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend.

HI Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine Mother's Day you must have had. That is a great present - have fun taking your "bloggie" photos! I do have to say though that you do choose really fantastic photos to post. I'm always amazed by the photos I see. You seem to find just the right ones. I know what you mean about learning how to use new products. Sometimes it can be so frustrating. We still have a DVD player that we've not used for several years because there are so many wires, I could never quite figure out the right configuration!
Have a wonderful week!

Hi Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful present. I'm like you...it takes a few tries before figuring the technical things out. Your photos are lovely though...you don't need any help with that. I love those pink roses and that lavender!
Have a great day!! Jenn
wow, lots of cool stuff. Oh, I am growing lavender in my house. We've tried before outside, but the bunnies and deer love it so much. beautiful blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you Carolyn honey for stopping by and checking on me. Loved my visit here this morning.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of this camera and now of course I want one. hahaha
You are going to have so much fun playing with it and we are going to benefit from your fun.
I just love your site. Did you do your headboard yourself.
Someday you will have to do a Blogazine post about yourself
Love
Maggie
The camera is very cute indeed. And I think you're learning fast of the photography thing. I love the first picture of the pink roses. They're fabulous! Happy day, Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteA bloggie camera! Oooh, go figure! I knew there was something I didn't have but would really, really love! Looks like you're having fun with it. What a wonderful son. :)
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog! I always love hearing from you. That's a great camera you received and I know you'll put it to good use. Today was the first day of summer for us and it was VERY hot and humid here in Texas. I'll throw some of the heat your way, if you'll be so kind to bring some cool to me! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn, I bet you are having lots of fun with your new camera.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you today and thank you for stopping by and leaving your sweet comment. I did not know that Father's Day is in September in NZ. Nice to know that info and learn something new.
