We have a new Prime Minister

We had our elections yesterday and the people have voted that they no longer want a Labour led government, ruled by Helen Clark.

Time for a change and we now have John Key who is with the National Party and I think that it is going to be really good for New Zealand.
There are so many young, fresh faces in the National Party that I think they will inject some enthusiasm and energy into their work in these difficult times.

Good luck Mr Key and to all your party.

  1. I haven't had a chance to catch up with the news Carolyn, and so your blog was the first time I saw that you have a new Government in New Zealand. There is so much change going on everywhere, and let's hope all these new people with fresh ideas can steady up our old world a little bit.
