We went for a lovely walk this morning and all along the roadside were the most beautiful freesias growing. I picked a bunch and the fragrance has permeated right through out the house. They have to be one of my favourite flowers with a perfume that is so heavenly.
Have a joy filled weekend.

Your freesias are certainly lovely; I too like their fragrance. Your blog has a very charming vintage atmosphere to it...this is my first visit, and thanks for visiting my blog. I love teddy bears too!

Hi Carolyn...
ReplyDeleteOh, freesias are one of my favorites! There scent is so wonderful. I can't too many fragrant things in the house...hubby has allergies. But I do sneak in what I can...
Your dresser is beautiful. So lovely.
Have a great day!
Hugs, Nancy
Thank you Doreen and Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI love my dresser ~ My Uncle Charlie (who was a lovely Man) left me some money in his will and that is what I spent it on and also a beautiful hutch dresser for the dinning room.

I love the scent of freesias... but oh boy, I love your dressing table even more!
ReplyDeleteOh, those freesias are so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Carolyn. When I was a little girl my Mum always used to buy me a bunch of freesias to give to my Gran when we went visiting. This year I bought Mum lots of freesia bulbs to plant in her garden.
