A very sad day for the Green family

Our beautiful old dog Heidi has gone and we are all so very sad.

On Friday night she did not seem interested in her dinner and was finding it hard to walk about.
Next morning Martin had to carry Heidi up to the car and she was sitting in her basket and we all headed to the vet.
Her big brown eyes looked sad and I knew that the prognosis was not going to be a good one.
The very kind vet told us that she was going in to renal failure and so we had to make the very hard decision as
she was not going to get better.

Heidi was such a lovely loyal dog and liked to walk along the beach and play in the waves.
I am going to miss my morning walks with her and the way she was always there for everyone and loved to be part of our
family.
We were very lucky to have her for over 13 years and will never forget the love and fun she brought to us all..

Love you Heidi and we are going to miss you so much,

xoxo

  1. Oh Carolyn...I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know you will be sad for a while...remember all of the good and happy memories she brought to your family. That will help you get through this...my heart is with you.

I talk from experience, having had dogs all of my life. The love and loss of a pet is very emotional.

Hugs to you and your family,
    Nancy xoxo

  3. Hi Carolyn,
So sorry to hear about your poor sweet pup (they are always puppies to me). The time does go by too quickly for our little furry friends. My dog is already 8 years old and I can't believe how quickly the time flies. I hope sweet memories will bring you comfort for now and always. Karen at Ciderantiques xoxo

  6. So sorry that you lost your dog. Pets are part of the family, for sure. I had to put down a good friend (kitty) once and it was so sad, hope you are feeling better by now.
