Spring is in the air
Spring is a cause for joyful celebration ~ It's finally warming up and it is almost here.
Ahhh! ... it is going out for a walk along the road and been able to pick one of my favourite flower, the freesia. This is such a lovely thing to do at this time of the year.
I love to fill vases with little posies around the house in the bathroom on the kitchen windowsill - wish I could embed this photo with the divine scent
Spring the season for rebirth, renewal and regrowth
Raindrops
Green grass
baby animals and birds
daffodils
We have had a lot of rain, but I like that it is making everything grow well in the garden and will share some photos soon.
The past week has been busy so hence not a lot of blogging going on. Can't believe that October is here - how can that be?
the days and months seem to be going so fast!
Do hope you are having a beautiful week, my friends
hugs
Carolyn

You have Freesias growing along the road? I only once saw them growing in a wild garden on the isle of Madeira. I love them and can imagine the divine fragrance in your house.
ReplyDeleteI do love the smell of freesia. We are finally getting cooler here in the desert. Daytime temps are in the 90s which means that winter is just around the corner. And that is when our growing season begins.
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous, fragrant bouquet! I really envy you! Spring is the prettiest of seasons. We have a very mild October here but poor flowers in the garden.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Carolyn!
Love, Olympia

ReplyDeleteDear Carolyn, you always surround yourself with such beautiful flowers. They looks so fresh and lovely after having seen the spring and had a lot of rain. We so miss rain here, this year, so much is dry and now waiting for winter, it will have not much power to live through the cold months !!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best!!!
Hugs, Dorthe
