Christmas has come and gone
Hope your Christmas has been a fabulous time, filled with joy, laughter and holiday cheer.
We have had a wonderful time, with our children home for the holidays, feasted on so much delicious food {consequently some long walks taken} and watched some old movies together as a family.
It is good to be able to relax and slow down a little after the busy and hectic past few weeks and enjoy the simple pleasures and happy times.
Also what makes it a special time, summer has arrived! We can now sing the song ... here comes the sun! So looking forward to spending time at the beach and swimming in the sea.
Sorry about the lack of visits to you, have not been anywhere near the computer and only today have been able to sit down at my desk. I look forward to coming over to say hello.
Hope the season is treating you well
Happy holidays and sending a hug your way
Carolyn x

I even have one more week off from school of staying at home, relaxing, doing what I WANT and sharing all that time with my husband. Enjoy your down time with the family. I love the time between Christmas and New Year. As you say it is a relaxing time. We are expecting 41 and 42 deg. at the end of the week so it certainly will be beach weather in the evenings.

We had a very quiet, but lovely Christmas in the purest sense. Midnight Mass and we took a long walk on Christmas Day.
