More of the Tour 2014

As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continue their tour down under it has been wonderful seeing this lovely family having a good time in New Zealand. They seem so loving and down to earth.

Prince George's first official public engagement was having a play day and meeting some of the little babies who were of about the same age. The event was organised by the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society.  Prince George impeccably dressed in a cute sailboat romper suit, looked happy to be playing with the children and toys.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked glamorous in the bespoke dress by the designer Jenny Packham.
The black gown was embroidered with the silver fern.

William and Catherine got to show off their competitive natures as they raced each other in America cup Yachts, out on the Waitemata Harbour.
Prince William teamed up with a crew led by Team New Zealand's manager Grant Dalton and the Duchess of Cambridge was with the crew of Team New Zealand and skipper Dean Barker.

{update: Catherine won two races from two, despite William last night admitting he had been boasting to everyone that he would win}

From the high street to the designer, the Duchess of Cambridge seems to pick the perfect outfit for every occasion and always looks very elegant. I love the exquisite tailoring of the blue coat she is wearing here, by the designer Alexander McQueen

We will continue to follow the tour and eager to see what she will be wearing next.

 Have a happy weekend
Carolyn
