Happy December

As the countdown to Christmas starts, wishing you all a very happy week.
Happiness ~ A bouquet in a bucket of the sweetest pale pink peonies in my favourite colour.

Last weekend flew by so fast and before I knew it is Monday morning and a new week has begun.

Simple moments are the best like spending Sunday lunch with our children at a little Restaurant and is always great to have a catch up with family.
Most of Saturday, was spent in the garden tidying up and I am feeling this today as my body feels a little achy. DH water-blasted the outdoor table and chairs and when the weather improves they will get a coat of teak stain in anticipation for summer.
Down at the village was the sweetest family of Mrs Duck and her five little babies and they waited while I took the photo.
Here's to a wonderful week ahead
Life is good!
hugs
Carolyn

  1. Carolyn, those baby ducks are just precious and I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than with family. Your peonies are so pretty. I bought some a couple days ago and nothing is happening. Usually they open up quickly.. I hope they are okay!

We too had lunch with family on Sunday. Our daughter cooked and the two grandchildren prepared it with her.
The ducks are so sweet. Beautiful flowers and such a delicate shade.
I'm trying to stay a little quiet this week. I hope your energy has returned so enjoy the rest of the week.

  30. Hi Carolyn,

Thanks so much for stopping by! I missed you too. I am thinking that if I don't find another alternative that is easy, I may just pay for more storage. Anita mentioned she switched to Google+ and has tons more that way. hmmm...I don't like change. LOL...

So you are having summer and it's almost Christmas. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around that myself. Those flowers are so pretty!!! Love the duckies too!

    Take care,
    Heidi

  31. Oh isn't that just the sweetest photo Carolyn!!!
The little ones are so vulnerable, but it seems Mother Ducks are very protective.

The days are simply flying by - I'm late as usual for this time of year.
So much to do and so little time!!
