A little lemon fresh love

 Hello dear friends,

What better way to start the week, than with this.
I was sent this the other day and found it very interesting so would like to share it with you.
The lemon is such a wonderful citrus fruit and I enjoy them in a drink, lemon meringue pie, lemon sorbet and the tangy flavour that goes so well in  a lot of cooking.

Then they are great for cleaning, refreshes the chopping board, gets rid of stains on marble, cut one in half and it will freshen the fridge or dishwasher .
Also eliminates odour and makes everything smell fresh.

DON'T WASTE THAT LEMON PEEL

Many professionals in restaurants and eateries are using or consuming the
entire lemon and nothing is wasted.

How can you use the whole lemon without waste?
Simple.  Place the lemon in the freezer section of your refrigerator.  Once the lemon is frozen, get your grater, and shred the whole lemon (no need to peel it) and sprinkle it on top of your foods.
Sprinkle it on your vegetables, salad, ice cream, soup, noodles, spaghetti sauce, rice, sushi, fish dishes.  All of the foods will unexpectedly have a wonderful taste, something that you may have never tasted before.

Most likely, you only think of lemon juice and vitamin C.  Not anymore.  Now that you've learned this lemon secret, you can use lemon even in instant cup noodles.

What's the major advantage of using the whole lemon other than preventing waste and adding new taste to your dishes?

Well, you see, lemon peels contain as much as 5 to 10 times more vitamins than the lemon juice itself. And yes, that's what you've been wasting.  But from now on, by following this simple procedure of freezing the whole lemon, then grating it on top of your dishes, you can consume all of those nutrients and get even healthier.
It's also good to know that lemon peel is a health rejuvenator, eradicating toxic elements in the body.

So place your lemon in your freezer, and then grate it on your meal everyday.  It is a key to making your foods tastier and you get to live healthier and longer!  That's the lemon secret!  Better late than NEVER!

The surprising benefits of lemon!

Lemon (Citrus) is a miraculous product to kill cancer cells. It is 10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy.
Why do we not know about that? Because there are pharmaceutical companies and laboratories interested in making a synthetic version that will bring them huge profits.

You can now help a friend in need by letting him/her know that lemon juice is beneficial in preventing the disease. Its taste is pleasant and it does not produce the horrific effects of chemotherapy. How many people will die while this closely guarded secret is kept, so as not to jeopardize the multi-million dollar big corporations

As you know, the lemon tree is known for its varieties of lemons, as the lime trees. You can eat the fruit in different ways: you can eat the pulp, juice press, prepare drinks, sorbets, pastries, etc... It is credited with many virtues, but the most interesting is the effect it produces on cysts and tumors. This plant is a proven remedy against cancers of all types. Some say it is very useful in all variants of cancer. It is considered also as an anti-microbial, with a large spectrum against bacterial infections and fungi, effective against internal parasites and worms; it also regulates blood pressure which is too high and even acts as an anti-depressant, combating stress and nervous disorders.

The source of this information is fascinating: it comes from one of the largest drug manufacturers in the world, who says that after more than 20 laboratory tests since 1970, the extracts revealed that: It successfully destroyed malignant cells in 12 cancers, which included cancers of the colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreas ...

Compounds of the lemon tree have been tested and were found to be up to 10,000 times better than the product Adriamycin, a drug normally used in chemotherapeutics, slowing the growth of cancer cells.  And what is even more astonishing: therapy with lemon extract only destroyed malignant
(cancer) cells and did not adversely affect healthy cells.
Mariette has just shared this link with me and sorry that this may not be true, but I do know that the lemon does have many benefits.

  1. OH MY GOODNESS...I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this post, Carolyn. I love using nature and foods to combat illness and diseases. I knew the lemon was a great thing, but had no idea about all this info. So glad you informed me about putting the lemon in the freezer. I have actually done that with lemon peel, but the whole lemon is fantastic. I love anything with lemon! This is great!!! Thank you so much.

I am a firm believe the body could be healed of any disease with natural foods if we only knew how. It's sad to think that greed gets in the way.

Again, thank you so much for all this great information.

Hope you're having a great week!

    xoxo

P.S. I'll be heading to the store to get some organic lemons tomorrow. :)

  5. Interesting and thought-provoking. I do believe there are natural ways that aid in the treatment of cancer and that chemotherapy is often as destructive as the disease itself. I will be eating even more lemons now - though I have always loved them anyway. If I have a lemon that is shrivelling, I chop it up, add honey and boiling water to make a delicious drink.

  10. I'll definitely try that, but I use the whole lemon anyway ... after juicing and zesting I put the empty shell in my dishwasher. It cuts through grease, leaving your glass and dishwasher gleaming and smelling sweetly too!

Lovely, fresh, post Carolyn ... loving the daffys!

  11. THIS IS SO INTERESTING MY DEAR! I used to have a lemon tree in my backyard in California, growing up. We used lemon in pies of course, but in salads and I even used to use it on my hair as a young girl, to turn my hair RED at the beach!!!

I DO AGREE that there are so many natural sources to combat disease and mostly, PREVENT IT! All we can do is try our best to use these sources to the best of our ability and trust that they will keep us healthy for a long time. BRAVO for this wonderful post my friend! Anita

  18. Gosh Carolyn, That is wonderful to know. I will go get some lemons and freeze them. I had not heard all this good and healthy news.

I read this post out loud to my grand-daughter and she said, "Carolyn is a pretty name. I like the name Carolyn!" You have a fan.

I know that there are big bucks in the drug industries. They cannot patent (so far) natural ways to cure health issues. When we told our medical doctor that we used good ole cough drops that cost a few pennies verses asthma drugs he just looked at us like we were uneducated.

    I enjoyed your post today!
    God bless,
    d

  19. Hi Carolyn what a wonderful uplifting post and I've already been out to my lemon tree and grated lemon-zest into a cup then topped with warm water and am sipping it as I type. Its wonderful to hear these vital bits of health information - far better than cramming our bodies full of pills and potions and of course in the case of cancer - chemo.
I've had a magical time in France some time spent in Paris and then some in rural France - it was all delightful.
    Take care
    Dianne
