Chanel window display

There is one thing I loved doing, when we were in Paris, was looking at all the very creative boutique window displays.
Here are a few photos taken of the Chanel Boutique, at Rue Cambon, Paris.

Chanel is indeed synonymous with fantasy, not merely for creating but also for interpreting style.
Everyday  is a Fashion Show and the world is the runway.
~ Coco Chanel

It is a lovely Auckland day here,  there is a lot of painting going on, around the windows and door frames  ~ one thing I will not miss is the smell of the paint fumes.

Hope that May, has got off to a good start for you.
Hugs
Carolyn

  1. My dear Carolyn, these window displays are really fascinating! The lion as a representative of the decorations on old houses, the bright orange wigs as a symbol for young, modern life ... (at least that is my interpretation ;o)) And I also loved the photo of the Carousel in your previous post so much!
Warm hugs and enjoy the pretty days!

  5. Ciao Carolyn.

Devo dire che le parrucche rosse dei manichini, fanno decisamente risaltare ancor più ed accentrare l'attenzione.

    Ottimo layout! ;o)

  25. Dearest Carolyn,

You were lucky for roaming those boutiques in the City of Lights! Paris is breathtaking. I've been there a couple of times in my life but would go back in a heart beat.
Enjoy your weekend and hope the ugly paint fumes (unhealthy too...) will soon evaporate for you.
    Love,

    Mariette

  33. Precious and most beautiful Carolyn,

Life is so lovely. We were meant to unearth the things within us that make us who we are, and who OUR PARENTS WERE TO US. What a life...what a love.
