Just a quick hello to wish you a happy new week

It is Monday morning here, after a very busy weekend filled with visiting family and getting together to celebrate my niece's engagement party.

The sun shone brightly and we seemed to do a lot of driving, but was good to get away.
On the way we stopped off at a little town called Paeroa, where there are many Antique shops, along the main street.
It was great to wander around and look at all the treasure, I was lucky enough to pick up some pieces of old lace.

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend.
Now back to doing all the things, that never got done at the weekend and I look forward to coming to visit  and see what you are up to.

Wishing you all a happy new week
Hugs
Carolyn

  13. Carolyn,
I just love towns that have little antique and quaint shops through their main street. It seems that those are the places I find the most unique things. I'm glad you enjoyed your niece's engagement party. I will soon be giving Nel one this summer. She will be getting married in the Fall...oh, so much to think about.

  30. Hi Carolyn,
So glad you got a chance to "get away"! Isn't it fun? We are leaving tomorrow for a few days with my old friend, and I look forward to finding some antique shops like you did. I always buy old lace! I suppose you use yours in dressing your bears? Or just creating so darling vignettes...
Thanks so much for you sweet words on FaH, and for taking the time to read the article in Belle. It really is my favorite place of anywhere. You didn't say if you've ever been there...if you haven't, you must go next time you're in France. You will love it!!!
