Deck the Halls....

Candles wrapped in old vintage sheet music is an easy little decoration

I love visiting other homes around blogland and seeing all the beauty to mark, the magical season.
So now I welcome you today to my home and here are a few of my decorations.

A dear friend gave me this special stocking creation, last year and it is so beautiful

I am busy trying to do several Christmas projects and of course, I am behind. So off I must go now and finish cards and my projects.
In the midst of my activity I will be enjoying listening to the sounds of the season, the timeless Christmas carols while I work and play.

Thank you for visiting me today and to new followers, always a delight to have you leave a message.
It's truly a joy to send wishes your way, for the happiest, brightest most wonderful day

Hugs
Carolyn

Wonderful idea to wrap candles in vintage sheet music! I think I am going to do that and add it to my snowmen vignette on my coffee table!

I hope you have a wonderful week. I may try to do some baking, we'll see!

  28. Hi Carolyn, I haven't done any decorating except teatowels in the kitchen. I don't know what's wrong with me this year. A Canadian friend at school today said the same thing I am feeling ... just doesn't feel like Christmas around here. One more week of school and then we have the winter break. Yea! Happy holidays to you and yours, Tammy

  29. Hi Carolyn, Your home is lovely dressed for the holiday. I love the candles wrapped in vintage sheet music and have done this too. Your gorgeous green plate behnd the vignette is so pretty. The little bread dough wreath ornament is just delightful. Did you make it? It has been awhile since I made those and you have inspired me to do a few again. Enjoy your time getting ready for Christmas day. We have been playing lots of Christmas music too and enjoy all the seasons festivities.
Have fun my friend and Merry Christmas.
    Love to you, Celestina Marie

Oh, I cannot BELIEVE how close Christmas is! A WEEK FROM TODAY? (it is still Sunday for me) and I haven't done a thing, other than send out SOME cards. But it is the joy of knowing I have time off starting on Wednesday, that I have my health, that I have a good husband and the best friends. MAY YOU ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF THIS SEASON and thank you for such a lovely year of kind friendship!! Anita
