Think Pink

Today I snapped some pictures of a few pretty pinks around the house.
We have Labour weekend coming up and a long weekend, so looking forward to that but I hope that the rainy days we have been having, will end.
I love vintage ribbon and they just look and feel better than the
ones we buy today.

It is October and time to think Pink with Breast Cancer Awareness month.
We need to be reminded of the importance, of going to have a mammogram.
I do hope that they will have a cure for this pernicious disease soon.

Hope all is well dear friends and enjoy the rest of the week
Hugs
Carolyn

  1. Lovely post, Carolyn. Love the pink slippers :)

Very important to get mamograms. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer this past January. Thankfully they got it all and she is now through with her radiation therapy but it look a bit longer for her to feel better mentally.

  15. What beautiful Pinks! I am very proud to be associated with the company I work for. Every year we hold a walk/run and this year raised 30 million dollars for Breast Cancer research. We must find a cure to ensure our Daughters & Granddaughters have a life free of breast cancer. Take care.

  27. Good morning, Carolyn,
What pretty pink things you have around your house! I, too love vintage ribbon and have a few pieces myself. But as much as the ribbon itself, I love the spools and labels, don't you? This is such a good idea for a post, and great to keep our awareness up. Thank you!

  29. Those pink slippers are just lovely!

I am glad you reminded everyone to get their Mammogram! I was diagnosed when I was 31 years old and no one in my family had ever had it so it's truly important to get those Mammograms. I am still in remission, thank heavens.

    Wishing you a wonderful week!
    Love,
