May you have sunshine!

I want to wish you a beautiful weekend. Here in New Zealand we have a picture perfect winters day... the sky is blue, the sun is shinning and it is a clear day.
Please visit these two lovely ladies, who kindly gave me these awards last week.
Thank you Shane from roseslaceandbrocante.blogspot.com
for the Kreativ Blogger Award.

Many thanks, Mariette
mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com gave me the Sunshine Award, I really appreciate the kindness you share.
I know many of your blogs are Award free, but I want to give each and every one of you the two lovely awards to place on your blogs.

This photo was taken in London and I love the way the rays of sunlight was shinning down on an early morning walk.
Hope that you are enjoying your summer (stay cool those that are having a heatwave)
and to us here in the Southern hemisphere, enjoy the winter.

Focus on the beautiful and good, to celebrate the exquisiteness of the everyday!

Hugs
Carolyn

  5. Hi Carolyn!
Thinking of a colder day that will come in November. We had scorching temps today...near 100. I think I do this just about every year...I can't seem to wait for warmer temps and then by July I start thinking about wish it would cool abit! haha.

    Your blue skies are gorgeous!!!
May you have a terrific week-end.

  6. A winter day couldn't be any better than with such a blue sky. Over here it rains but I prefer that over very hot weather.
Have a wonderful weekend, dear Carolyn!

  10. Sweet friend,

I keep forgetting that you all are in winter mode; I hope that my color post brought you memories of joyful summer bliss, but there is SO MUCH BEAUTY in the winter of our souls....thank you for your kind comments and friendship. Yes, that aqua dress...I NEED IT..I WANT IT! And I love the way glitter looks; some things encrusted in glitter make me want to take a bite of of them!

Have a cozy day dear friend, Anita

  15. Hello Carolyn, we also had a beautifully clear day here in South Africa but the temperatures have been very low this week and we are definitely not equipped for such cold weather. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  17. Hi dear Carolyn, thankyou for your sweet wishes, we just had a huge thunderstorm, with lots of water falling-but it is nothing compared with what happened in Copenhagen, where my daughter and her family lives,-their cellar have half meter water now-and the garden is under water,too-I feel so sad for them, and being so far away, not being able to help....
The weather is not normal anywhere anymore.

I hopr your week-end is a good one, dear-
    Hugs,Dorthe

  19. You are such a gracious recipient of an award dear Carolyn!
My thoughts are, even if one doesn't "do" awards it's at least nice to recognise one.
    Nuff said!!!

Great photo from your London sojourn and I look forward to you sharing some more with us.

    Merci mon amie xxx

  20. Hi Carolyn,
Congrats on the awards you received. You are so very deserving.
The pic of your perfect winter's day is gorgeous. What a stunning blue sky. For the moment you have forgotten what winter feels like with our heat wave of over 100 everyday. It is so hot you can fry an egg on the sidewalk. LOL

Thank you for the 4th of July wishes. We will enjoy a BBQ and relax.
    See you again soon.
    Love to you dear friend,
    Celestina Marie
