Thank you

Some of the things I would like to do~

Everyday I want to tell my family they are loved

To take a few moments each day to really look at the beauty that is all around.

I am going to plant some hyacinths and freesias bulbs, now that it is Autumn with the hope that when Spring comes will be able to see them bloom.

Many thanks for the kind words you wrote for my Mother, I appreciate your kindness and love so much. She is still in hospital and with her being elderly, pneumonia is such a serious illness so I only hope that she will be able to make a good recovery.

Also my nephew and his wife have safely returned home from Japan - because the airport they had planed to leave from was closed, they had to travel 500 kms to Osaka airport to get their flight back.

Have a beautiful week my friends.
Hugs today to you
Carolyn

  1. Hello Carolyn,

I am so happy that your nephew and his wife are home safely. There was another earthquake yesterday I think it was! I am still waiting to hear from my brother.

Your mother and you will continue to be in our prayers.

We should all do the same thing, sweet Carolyn, tell our family we love them and stop and smell the roses. That's how I felt yesterday spending the day with my hubby and my sweet Sophie. I had work to do and housework to do but I put it all behind me and enjoyed the day with my family and took in all the beautiful surroundings. I kept saying to myself what my Aunt Nena used to say, this is the day the Lord has made.

Love to you and your family

    ((Hugs))

  4. I do hope your mother recovers soon. Illnesses take longer to recover with the elderly but I'm sure she is being cared for well. Good news about your nephew and his wife making a safe journey home.
I think I'll go and buy some hyacinths - I love the fragrance.

  10. Sorry to hear about your mother being in hospital. My grandmother is also in hospital and is not very well at present. I am praying that she recovers but she is 89 and a little tired. Guy said this morning that she is like a candle. I think that this is true but it did not stop my tears this morning as I am very close to my nana but know that she cannot live forever.

Sending you a big hug from SW France,

    Leeann x

  15. Hi Carolyn,
I hope that your mom gets well soon. It is so difficult when they become elderly. My mom is 85.

I love that you look around and enjoy all the beauty. I think that sometimes when we have adversity it makes us even more aware of our blessings. I felt that way when I went to see my mom for her eye surgery. I kept thinking how I take my eyesight for granted.

I will say a prayer for your mom.

  19. Dear Carolyn, your dear mother is always in my daily prayers, I wish she recovers soon.
Good to know your brother and his wife are at home and safe.

Will love to see the fresias and hyacynts when the time comes. I will also plant fresias again, they dissapeared because some seed of malvas rosas sprout in the same pot.
    hugs my dear
