Happy weekend

Spring is wisteria and lavender seen against a blue sky.
Birds are nesting and daylight is lengthening, thoughts of summer is just around the corner.
Washing flapping in the breeze and blowing away the cobwebs of winter.
The air is full of pretty fragrances and it is a joy to go outside and take it all in.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend, on this remarkable date of the 10/10/10.
We have been having a big clean up, around the house. Once every two years we have an inorganic rubbish collection so we have been gathering up a lot of stuff to put out at the road front.
The funny part about this is there are people driving around the roads with their trailers, picking through the rubbish. Don't they say, "what is one Mans rubbish, could be someones treasure."

I look forward to visiting your blogs soon.
Hugs
Carolyn

  1. Spring has sprung indeed!!!!
It's so wonderful how we can quickly forget the cold short days of winter and embrace the call of Spring.
That wisteria is beautiful and as I've been out and about the past couple of weeks I see it everywhere - it definitely heralds Spring in these parts.
    Lovely post thank you Carolyn

  2. The clean up sounds like fun. People in our neighbourhood would have a "field day" if we had that out here. Your 10/10/10 looks lovely, we have bucketing rain here at present. Looking forward to that nice spring weather! xxRobyn

Oh, it must smell lovely around your home, with all the fragrant blooms. I need to do some spring cleaning here, even though we are in the middle of the fall! I alway like to do a real good house cleaning right before the holiday season. Who has time to clean during the holidays! Lovely photos you have posted. Have a wonderful week.

  17. I adore wisteria and lavender, the first can get hold of something and become part of it, a very lovely tree (is it a tree?) Lavender is not only old fashion, it is elegant and healing. I like your blog, thanks for visiting mine...have a great week. Gris
