Heart to heart!

I just couldn't help snapping a few shots of hearts around the home today.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart. ~ Helen Keller

  17. Hi Carolyn...
I am soooo behind with my replies to you! I am sorry.
Going back a bit here...Your new camera is taking beautiful pictures! I'll bet you are just thrilled.
I must try the Ginger Beer...it looks and sounds yummy. And, yes, we can get sultanas here. I actually use them quite a bit in baking.
Love the buttons. It is so hard to get nice creamy buttons.Yours are lovely.
    Happy Birthday to Marcel!

I think I am almost caught up!
Hope you are well and enjoying spring. The leaves are falling off the trees here now...but the sky is a brilliant blue and temps are still nice...so I'll enjoy the fall.
    Take care,
    Hugs, Nancy

  27. Carolyn-I don't know what it is, but I love buttons! Your photo is great! I saw Charles Schultz's wife on tv this week about the 60 year anniversary--it's hard to believe. I feel as if we all grew up together :)! I hope you will try the hummingbird cake--it is a southern recipe. But I don't know many people further "south" than you :) Hope your weekend is going well!

  28. Hi Dear Carolyn,
Yes, the heart is beautiful and I love your pics from around your home. My niece and I always sign our letters with the words, heart to heart.
Your photos are always so inspiring and creative. You are not only talented with your creations and words, but the camera too.

Happy birthday to your friend. The package looks darling and so inviting to open!
The Helen Keller verse has always been one of my very favorites.

Have a wonderful day and blessings and love to you and yours always.
    Your friend, Celestina Marie

  30. Hi Carolyn, I don't know how I've missed so many of your posts. Time sure does get away from me these days.

First off, congrats on your new camera. Hubby keeps saying he wants to buy me a professional one. I sure don't like reading manuals. :/

Happy belated to Marcel. Today is my oldest son's 15th birthday.

I love hearts and have a tendency to collect them, too. And I do love blogging because I get to visit friends like you.

Hope you have had a fabulous weekend. Best wishes, Tammy
