Past few weeks were simply crazy between racing to Texas to get fabrics for upcoming collection, renovation of my house and day to day things in Atelier. It feels so wonderful to have a moment to visit my favorite Blogs and read fabulous posts just like this one. Have a very beautiful the rest of the week. :-)

  16. As a librarian, I thank you. These are simply beautiful. My very first job was in the old Toronto Reference Library. They built a new one that's nowhere near as nice as the old one which is now sectioned off and part of the University of Toronto. Sad really.

  17. If I went to one of these libraries, I'm afraid I'd spend more time on my back admiring the ceilings than reading the books. My GOSH, these buildings are gorgeous. It's sad they don't make them they way they used to.

  31. I'd love to visit libraries like this. How beautiful these libraries are. I work in a little library in my hometown, which is housed in the Casino Threater Building. http://www.casinotheater.org/
The Casino Theatre was built in 1900 in the Greek Revival Style and hosted live entertainment and was a popular stop along the "Vaudeville Circuit". Among its historic visitors during the past century are President William H. Taft, world boxing champion Bob Fitsimmons, composer Hoagy Carmichael, the Lone Ranger, Tex Ritter and the Three Stooges.
Many wonderful productions are still shown in this historic place. The library is on the left side of the building and we are going through many renovations to update our facilities. I love working in the library, even if it isn't as fancy as some libraries. Thanks for your post, I enjoyed it.
