Red, like a fire engine.

Some pretty red carnations, for you.
A few years back, our Son Marcel bought this jacket from a Vintage shop.
The full dress, scarlet red coat is from the Welsh Guard, and a wonderful collectable from probably about the 1920's - 30's.

The leek on the collar, epaulettes and shiny brass buttons is the symbol for Wales.
On the buttons the words translate ~ Wales Forever.

This coat is beautifully made out of a thick red woolen fabric and lined with silk.
With his Grandfather's ancestor's being a descendant from Wales, seems quite fitting for him to have this.

I hope that you are having a wonderful week

Hugs
Carolyn

Boys are shocking that way sometimes, you think they have no interest in shopping of any sort, and then they come home with the neatest vintage stuff.
