Christmas at our house.

Here is a little peek at Christmas time, at our house. Please come on in.

We have the tree up and decorated ~ It is always fun getting out the boxes of decorations from other years. Some of the decorations, we have had a lot of fun making. The kids call this the cram tree, because there is not much room for too many more decorations.

Candles wrapped in old sheet music and tied up with string.
A little burlap stocking I made, filled with toys.

What fun Christmassy things are you up to this weekend?

My family are driving down to celebrate my Mother's birthday, and going out to lunch, so looking forward to spending time with them.

I wish many blessings and joy for you during the holiday season.

hugs
Carolyn

  3. Hi Carolyn, Lovely decorations. I just had to stop by and tell you that I have that same little bear ornament in the 6th photo - the one hanging from the star. I also have two other that are similar. They are among my favorites. Well - I have a lot of favorite bear ornaments, but it's nice to see someone else with similar leanings! Thanks for posting the photos. It must be wonderful at your house this time of year.

I absolutely love the idea that you came up with- wrapping those Christmas candles in some old music sheets! And who would have ever ever ever thought of that?!

I also created something Christmas-y with the candles I bought. I tied them all the way up with many, many ribbons! They now are each covered in ribbons of many various colors and stand proudly in our Christmas stand! :) I think that's an original, too! Or at least, I haven't seen anyone to that, every before! :)
