Pierre and Buster in Paris!

Here is my French Bear I have made ~ Pierre, Le Guide de Voyage, I will be placing him on my Web-site for sale soon.

We have friends that have recently moved to Paris to live and they sent over, this darling photo of their cute dog Buster.
Our daughter had a holiday job with them and V loved taking Buster for a walk in her lunch break.

We are going to have dinner with some friends tonight, so looking forward to that.
I wonder what you have planned for the weekend?
Have a happy weekend.

Hugs
Carolyn

  2. Not much on the agenda this weekend. Sewing some bags for my daughter's friend (she has a craft show at the end of the month) and shopping tomorrow.
I love your little bear. He is so adorable. How high is he?

  5. Isn't Buster a cute name for a dog? And he's a cutie too!

Going to do some Christmas thinking and shopping, I hope. Along with a couple step classes to keep the blood moving and the calories at bay.

    Drinks with friends too......

    Happy weekend, Carolyn!

  8. Hi Rosemary,

Thanks for visiting and yes, it is great to have friends in Paris.
Enjoy your dinner tonight and if there is anything else I can help your friends with, just email me.

    Hi Dolores,

Sounds like fun though, making some bags for the craft show.
Pierre is only a small bear to what I normally make - he is about 10".

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for visiting are your kind words.
We have it rather cold and overcast here, not typical sort of weather for November.

Many thanks for visiting me today Marsha and you have a busy weekend ahead. Have fun at the Miniature, potluck and flea market.

    Hi Barbara,

That sounds like a lovely weekend too. I think that it is so much better to try and do the Christmas shopping before, the mad rush.
Leaving it to the last minute can be pretty hectic.

    Hi Maria Cecilia,

Many thanks for your visit and I was honoured to be invited to one of Jermaine's lovely Thanksgiving tables. Thank you for your kind words and I hope that your weekend
    is happy

  12. Hi Carolyn,
Pierre is quite charming with his blue, white and red French ribbon tied just so around his precious little neck! Buster is free to come stay with us in California if he ever gets tired of Paris (no chance of that!). Have a wonderful weekend, we're planning to take it easy this weekend and do things around the house.

  15. Hi Carolyn
Your little Pierre is delightful. You have certainly captured the essence of the French. This weekend I am preparing for the arrival of my daughter from Australia on 26 Nov. The excitement level in our home is very, very high!

  16. I'll be painting and doing a bit of baking...and... oh, the usual fun stuff. Well, it's fun for me anyway... love baking and cooking...and the painting of the cupboard doors and drawer fronts... well, that will mean one step to being totally finished in the exercise room ....yipeeee!

I just wish it was all done so I could wrangle a few more hours to play with a doll or a bear.... lol.... oh, well...the little needle felts will suffice for now..

  21. Oh my goodness such a darling little bear. I am going to let my daughter who lives in Paris know about him--as her sweet handsome boyfriend is named Pierre. The "Pierre" I usually envision is an artist, but her Pierre is a gentleman and a scholar and works in finance and we are thrilled that he will be spending the holidays with us in Santa Barbara. Pierre and all of your bears are endearing works of art! Hope your weekend is the best.
