Lovely to be back home.

Vogue - Polyvore.

The postcard I sent home to our children, arrived after we got home.

Blogging is like keeping a diary and what we have been up to in our daily lives. Sometimes it is not very exciting but it is what we are doing at a particular time.

We arrived back to Auckland on Saturday, to rain and cooler weather, so different to what we had been used to on holiday. You miss the sunshine and cobalt skies and sea and being in a holiday mode!
I love Winter though, don't get me wrong.
You know the feeling you get, when you come back from a holiday. There is unpacking the suitcase and then the bag of laundry and ironing to be done. So I must away and do some things that need doing around the house.

I hope that you have a wonderful week.

Hugs
Carolyn

  2. Welcome back. Yes, funny how reality hits when you get home from holidays. All the mundane things need attending to.

  3. Hi Tracie,

You have a wonderful holiday away too. I read where you were taking a break with your family.
Have shared a few holiday photos in the previous post.

Thank you Dolores for the welcome back. I think sometimes you still want to be on holiday and life seems a little flat for a bit.

  9. Good Morning Carolyn,
Those post-holiday blues are rough. It's totally opposite of when you were choosing your outfits, gathering them together in your suitcase, and counting the hours until you left for vacation.
When you are done with all of your chores, come back and play! :)

  12. Hello Carolyn,
Getting away and then returning home makes the returning home all the better.
It's wonderful to take a break from home...but lovely to be back.

One of these days I hope to make a big teddy bear. I've wanted to for so long, I will just have to try this!
    God Bless,

Housework all done, so now I can play. Yah!

    Hi Renee,

I agree, a holiday is good for the soul and recharging the batteries.
But I love being back home.

    Hi Deanna,

That is lovely that you are going to make a big Teddy bear. Let me know if there is anything I can help you, with making it.
