Life

I was sent this the other day and thought it was so beautiful and want to share it with you.

Friendship

Innocence

Rescued

Compassion

Divine

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass ~ it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Does this happen to you? ~ you go away for a few days and came back to find 104 emails in your Inbox! So I am now wading through them, trying to play catch up!

On Sunday morning we woke to hear the news that our Woolworths Supermarket had caught fire. The building was well ablaze when the firefighters arrived at 9.30 pm, Saturday.
As this is the Island's only large Supermarket and it will be closed until further notice, will be an inconvenience. I am catching the ferry today, to get groceries in the City and will come back with canvas bags filled with groceries. We do have small dairies but they are much more expensive.

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend

Hugs
Carolyn

  9. A lovely positive post in the face of 'grocery adversity'! Oh well, nothing much you can do Carolyn but look at it as an additional way to exercise with all those heavy shopping bags. Enrol your family's help, after all they eat as well, don't they!

  10. Hi Dolores,

I agree, the emails are not going anywhere and will get on to them in the weekend.
I heard one of the firefighters had to seek medical help but is going to be fine.

thank you for visiting Rosemary ~ Queen of the Crown! I hope that you are having a great Crown day!

thanks Kim, we have been told that it is going to be about 8 weeks to rebuild and have things running again.

    Hi Millie,

I went across on the 3pm ferry and met my husband and son and between the three of us we were pack horses together. The really funny part about it, is you see everyone else doing the same thing.
Just making home made pizzas for our dinner tonight, so all is good here!

  15. Hi Laura,

They are lovely photos aren't they and we need things like this to look at, when there are so many horrible things in the newspaper and on TV.

    Hi Jennifer,

    Thanks for visiting.
I read in the paper that it could be 8 weeks to rebuild. We will get by though, will have to.
It is strange how you only buy the things on the list as I often tend to stock up on things.
