A Garden

Plant a seed of friendship ~ Reap a bouquet of happiness.

The greatest gift of a garden is that it restores the five senses. ~ Hanna Rion
Wouldn't it be lovely to have a garden like this ~ I love the fountain, surrounded with the old bricks.
Fresh herbs would proudly make a statement in this wonderful herb garden.
Beautiful gardens from House Beautiful.

I hope that you are having a great week

Hi Jennifer,

A garden does need a lot of tending to and can be a lot of work.
thanks for visiting.

I love looking at gardens. I wish my backyard was half as nice looking. Maybe my landscape architect daughter and her boyfriend, who is also a LA, will start making some progress on the yard. I did show them a photo I found of my dream garden. Hint, hint... They are more into composting right now though.

Hi TattingChic,

And a big thank you for visiting me this morning.

Hi Dolores,

That is wonderful that your daughter is a Landscape architect and I hope that they will give you a hand with your garden. It is all the preparation with compost and getting the soil right that makes for a good garden.

Hi Diane,

I too enjoy looking through magazines at all the wonderful gardens that people have.
Neat that your husband has made some landscaped areas for you.

Hi Jodie,

I know what you mean ~ wished mine was a little more like these.
I have some violas that I am going to plant today - add a little colour and cheer to the garden.
It is winter over here and it always looks a little drab. All the leaves have dropped off the wisteria so it always looks bare this time of the year.
