Happy Mother's Day

Courtesy of Victoria Magazine.

I just want to wish my friends out there, a very happy Mother's Day.
I hope that you have a day to relax and enjoy the day with those you love and maybe breakfast in bed and a little pampering!

Hugs and enjoy your weekend

You have a wonderful day too!
I won't be having any breakfast in bed. Getting up early to go to the Rose Bowl Flea Market. My husband takes me every Mother's Day, because I like to go.
Love the pretty blue and white china on your post.
    Chat soon,

No breakfast in bed. :( Dog still needed an early morning walk. But I refuse to cook today and housework is at a minimum. Enjoy your day!

  5. Thank you Rosemary and I hope that your day is wondeful too!
I hope that you got some lovely things at the Flea Market ~ good to have a tradition like that.

Sorry Diane, you are feeling a little blue and I hope that your Sunday and week ahead will be good.

    Hi Bella,

I am not really a breakfast in bed person - I always feel like I would rather be sitting at the table.
We have just come back from a long family lunch and ate way too much.
No one is wanting dinner tonight so that is good.
I had a roast of lamb I was going to cook but that will be tomorrows dinner now.

    Hi Nancy,

I have had a lovely Mother's day thanks, V gave me a lovely candle and M gave me soap and bath oils and chocolates and then a big lunch, so a lovely day!

I hope that all my friends have the very happiest Mother's Day

    Hugs

  7. Thank you Lynda, for visiting.
Funny how Mother's Day falls at different times of the year in other parts of the world.

Yes, it is a lovely tradition to be able to remember our own Mother's and our kids to do the same for us.

  8. Oh so pretty in blue! Happy Mother's Day Carolyn. It's our day, to be pampered and treasured. I am having a very happy Mother's day, my daughter made me a special breakfast and arranged the food in a smiley-face on the plate. She also made hand-made tea bags out of cheese cloth for me and I had a delicious cup of tea. In a little while, we will all be going to my mother's nursing home to enjoy some time with her. She will turn 80 in a month, and grateful to still have her with us. All best wishes to you on this special day!

  10. Hi Lavinia,

That is so sweet that your daughter made breakfast for you and loved the tea bag idea, that cup of tea would have been special!
Glad that you could spend some time with your Mother. As the years go by they our Mothers are so special and we are lucky to still have them.
I saw my Mother a few weeks ago and I am hoping to go down and visit them again soon. My parents live 3 hours away.

Have a wonderful day and as I heard Mother's day should be every day!

    Hugs

  13. Hi Celestina Marie,

Yes, Mother's day was special and one day of the year that you are treated like a Princess, no cooking or cleaning.
I hope your day was wonderful.

    Hi Renee,

I did too. I do not really like breakfast in bed, (crumbs in the bed) I was up my usual time.

    Hugs

  15. Hi Carolyn, Happy Mother's Day to you too! Hope your's was relaxing.

Mine was very nice, but low key. I
was really sick over the weekend with strep throat/tonsilitis. So I just took it easy and enjoyed spending time with my Dh and 2 kids. DH made a fabulous meal, saw Alton Brown from the FoodNetwork cooking show making it. A Steak au Poivre, dh even did the flaming skillet like on tv. The steak was amazing.

Oh, I also wanted to tell you that your little sheep on Bella's site is very cute. Did you make the sheep?

    Have a great week! xoxox
