Rear Ended

My husband and I were stopped at the traffic lights last week, when a girl failed to stop and banged into the back of our car.
I don't know if she was talking on her mobile phone or txt'ing, anyway it gave us a terrible fright.
I have had a headache and sore neck so I went to the Doctor and had some x-rays taken. I get the results back on Monday.
I am getting by with the help of panadol and ibprofen.

Happy Easter

Wishing you all a very happy Easter weekend and I hope that you are having a lovely realxing break.

Yesterday I made some hot cross buns and they smelt so good when they were cooking in the oven
and they tasted delicous. ( When I was grocery shopping on Thursday I thought how easy it would be
to have the ready made ones in a bag - but I am glad that I made my own.

I only wished you could have joined me for a cup of tea and a hot x bun!

Trinny & Susannah Show

I was lucky enough to win tickets to the show that Trinny and Susannah were putting on, with helping all women dress better
for their shape and size. We have always enjoyed their show on TV of " What not to wear"
So yesterday dressed in our best finery, my daughter and I were very excited to go along and hear what they had to say.
They were larger than life, so tall and dressed impeccably and telling us of all the different shapes bell, hour glass, vase etc and what clothes suited our different shapes best.
Their time up on stage was cut short though as they had a plane to catch to Australia, otherwise I think they could have
talked and helped us NZ Ladies all day, as they were really passionate with what they were teaching.
